Public Proposal of the Day: During the second intermission at the Senators-Maple Leafs matchup this past Saturday, smitten Senators supporter Christina proposed to her girlfriend Alicia, a Leafs-lover, in the middle of the ice rink, as the Scotiabank Place crowd went wild.
Turns out the homophobes were right: Same-sex marriage is a slippery slope. A Sens fan marrying a Leafs fan? Abomination.

In order to help prevent a small mishap from becoming a full blown emergency, we encourage every bride to put together a bridal emergency kit! This kit can be large or small, but should take into account a few staple items:
- Pain Reliever (Aspirin, Motrin, Tylenol, ect.)
- Band-Aids in Various Sizes
- Dental Floss
- Toothbrush To-Go
- Hair Pins
- Hand Towelettes
- Matches
- Safety pins
- Small Scissors
- Sewing Kit
- Double Stick Tape
- Extra Panty Hose
- Clear Nail Polish
- Spot or Stain Remover
- Static-Cling spray
- Lint Roller
- Superglue
- Tissues
- Tweezers
- Nail File / Emory Board
- Hair Brush or Comb
- Bottle of Water + Straw
- Granola Bar or Small Snack
And there are many more items that may specifically pertain to a particular bride’s needs including: feminine products, eye-drops, contact lenses, and any prescription medications. Remember – It’s always better to be safe than sorry! Be prepared in advance, and then you can relax knowing that you’re ready for any mini-mishaps on your wedding day!
